On November 10, 2016, The Margaret Clark Morgan Foundation (MCMF), a Hudson non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of people with serious mental illness hosted the Impact Awards at Northeast Ohio Medical University. More than 350 people attended the dinner and awards ceremony celebrating four awardees for their dedication to improving lives through education, the arts, and the promotion of mental wellness.
Rick Kellar, President of the Foundation says, “The Impact Awards program recognizes outstanding achievements and community impact on The Foundation’s mission areas. Highly effective individuals focus on innovation while communicating and performing in ways that motivate and inspire. The Compass Award is designated to an individual whose long term contributions have made transformational impact in mental health, a specific focus of our mission. These awardees inspire their colleagues and the beneficiaries of their work in Northeast Ohio, nationally and around the world.”
